Our Story

Why We Built OTC Scheduler

We're a married couple with young children, and like many parents, we needed a simple way to track alternating medications during sick days.

We downloaded the popular "free" apps and were shocked by what we found: location tracking, data sharing with pharmaceutical companies, health information sent to advertisers, and pages of legal disclaimers about how our family's medical data would be used.

As someone who's worked in IT for over 20 years—working in data privacy, data protection, and business continuity—I knew exactly where that data was going. And I didn't like it.

We didn't want our children's medication schedules becoming part of some pharmaceutical company's marketing database or AI training set. So we built OTC Scheduler the way we wished those apps worked: completely private, fully offline, and respectful of families.

Why $4.99?

Because we're not a venture-backed startup that needs to "monetize users" to satisfy investors. This is our side project—built with decades of IT and data privacy experience—and the one-time payment lets us:

No investor demands. No data quotas. No selling out.

Just a simple app that does one thing well: helps you track OTC medications while keeping your family's health data exactly where it belongs—on your device.

If you've ever felt uncomfortable about how much data health apps collect, OTC Scheduler was built for you.
